Election Quote of the Day

This afternoon, I learnt from Valencia the election quote of the day. Valencia quoted David Sedaris who said: "Being undecided in this election is like being on a plane and having the flight attendant offer you a choice of chicken or excrement with shards of glass - and asking 'How was the chicken prepared?'"

I see the chicken was prepared buffalo style with a side of ranch... my favorite...

THAT, valencia via p-lou, is brilliant. Sedaris is my favorite author, so I had to look up the quote, and the article is FABULOUS and worth sharing:

OMG!! Abbzug he is also my fav. Have you ever read his story about when he was a kid and his Greek grandmother moved in with them (can't remember which book it's from)

Brilliant I tell you, brilliant.

Yea, link totally worked, D-Unit - as a cut and paste anyway. (Isn't that the only option if it's not that pretty blue color?) Thanks for the rest of the story, Abbzug. (just tore myself away from live election coverage on comedy central to read it)

Hmmm, the greek grandmother story doesn't sound familiar...but I have read all of his books. I wonder which one its in....if you think of it, let me know.

Jay and I last night kept chuckling during the election, every once in a while muttering something about glass chards.
