I Learnt the answer to valencia's question...........

On March 21, 2010 at 10:37 PM MST...........valencia posed the question: "what the #@&*! is a fish burger?!"

Well one of the answers to this question became clear today. Plou and I cruised into the local Red Robin restaurant near the Chapel Hills Mall you know the one located at 1410 Jamboree Dr. in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. We felt the need to visit this establishment because Plou was packing a birthday "free burger" Internet coupon that was burning a whole in her pocket.

I plopped my fat ass down in a booth.....opened the menu and much to my delight saw this tasty treat:

CRISPY FISH BURGER
The reel thing! Premium, icy cold water
Cod filets, hand-battered in a light tempura
batter and crisply-fried. Topped with cabbagecoleslaw
mix, tomatoes, pickles and dill’d &
pickle’d tartar sauce to lure you in. $9.79

I feasted on this item along with real classic coca cola. Delicious meal!!!!

If you can't make it to MacDonald's.......Red Robin would be a great second choice for Fishburgers.

I see you've chosen to play the 'Red Robin Card.' Well played, well played.

When I posted that comment I was fully aware of the 'Red Robin Fish Burger' issue. See, Red Robin has this fun habit of naming all sandwichs 'burgers.'

I refuse to engage in the burger/sandwhich debate . . . there will be no winners.

Perhaps for lunch I'll enjoy a grilled cheese burger, or maybe a tuna salad burger . . . do you see where I'm going with this.

It's a slippery slope.

just for fun....I slid over to google and typed in : "McDonald's sandwiches"...the following pops up number uno:

Nutrition values of McDonald's Sandwiches Nutrition values of McDonald's Sandwiches are given. You may get 280 to 520 calories from a single sandwich.

it appears McDonald's his it both ways calling a sandwich a burger and a burger a sandwich

where as checking the Captain D's menu shows: " Deluxe Classic Fish Sandwich" Classic batter dipped fish fillets on a kaiser bun with tangy tartar sauce and lettuce."

very confusing to all connoisseurs of fine foods.........
