While watching the NASA channel tonight I learnt that there are now 4 states of matter instead of 3. I always thought we just had liquid, solid, and gas going on. Now I find out we have a 4th....called plasma. How did I miss this?

Oh boy, and if you'd kept watching you would have learned about "dark" matter.

Funny you should mention dark matter.....I am actually learning about dark matter in a book that stephany sent me...."A short history of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson.......it is one of the most interesting books I have ever read...but it takes me a week to read one chapter....now I ain't that fast a reader to begin with, but I really have to read this slowly to follow the story lines. my lips are really getting chapped.
DUDE! I kept a tube of chapstick next to the bed for the 2 months it took me to read this book! Great book...I want it back, one of the few that will remain on my bookshelf and not go to www.paperbackswap.com!
