Heard through the grapevine that a certain someone who checks this website from time to time may know a "little" bit about Durango CO. My husband's family is gathering there Aug 5-10 and I am searching for fun things to do. Drop me a line if anyone in here has some suggestions....

I never got to white water down there....are the rivers up that time of year?
If we've gotten enough snowfall...also abbzug suggests tubing (while drinking beer?), if I remember correctly.
yes..... tubing is best accompanied by beer...and the plus is....you don't even have to get up and go to the bathroom.....I'm jest sayin
