the times they are a changin'
For decades, illegal marijuana cultivation has been an economic lifeblood for three counties in northern California known as the Emerald Triangle.
The war on drugs and frequent raids by federal drug agents have helped support the local economy — keeping prices for street sales of pot high and keeping profits rich.
But high times are changing. Legal pot, under the guise of the California's medical marijuana laws, has spurred a rush of new competition. As a result, the wholesale price of pot grown in these areas is plunging.

You mean "colorado's" new medical marijuana law... I heard there are more "dispensories" in colorado then there are starbucks?
that is true.... and all the impostors and Riff Raff buying "medical Marijuana" are making it very difficult for those of use with genuine medical needs to get our prescriptions filled.
In fact, I went down to the Chelsea drugstore to get your prescription filled......I was standing in line with Mr. Jimmy
And man, did he look pretty ill
We decided that we would have a soda...My favorite flavor, cherry red.
