How hot is it?

Much like me, you are probably wondering: How hot is it inside Earth?

Earth’s core temperature is estimated to be around 5,000 to 7,000 degrees Celsius. That’s about as hot as the surface of the sun, but vastly cooler than the sun’s interior.

I'm really hoping the rest of the mug reads "nce"...then when you see it you have to say it with a lisp "science!"...duck-tape rules btw.

as abbzug noted this is a very expensive cup....awarded to me for one of my many scientific journal articles in a major publications....the exact one escapes me at the moment...but i do seem to remember there was a check awarded that got misplaced and never cashed. It was my understanding that the science committee was going to replace the check...but apparently this has slipped their mind...im jest sayin

statue of limitations has a'run out. Also the recession has been rough on the SCI committee. But you might have a 20% off coupon for Kohls on the way, if you're lucky.
