today jay was riding his mountain bike 'peacefully on a lovely trail', when he heard automatic weapon gunfire from multiple directions. He quickly reviewed safety lessons he'd learned as a child, and decided that 'stop, drop, and roll' would not be helpful in this situation. He then quickly reviewed things he'd learned on this blog, and found them insufficient as well.
In the immortal words of Johnny Cash......
"...When I was just a baby my mama told me. Son,
Always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns.
But I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die
When I hear that whistle blowing, I hang my head and cry....."
There ya have it.............

It seems the struggles of living in Reno may be an opportunity for growth and keen insight for you - perhaps even an inspiration to write country songs. The line "I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die" is a great one and no doubt is sung in your head on a daily basis - like when you see one of those mullet haircuts in an El Camino pass you on the street...
Apparently Jay did not read the blog from November 11..where a lady from Reno cautioned us all to "be prepared"...if Jay would have read that blog, he would have remembered to wear a flack jacket and helment when he bicycled in Reno............see the karma of the blog is kicking in already!

Wait.. did you say he had a mountain bike, a lovely trail, and mullet hair-cut? seems he had everything he needed to defend himself from automatic weapon fire.
Sincerely,
MacGyver
