Or, stay home drinking box-o-wine, listening to Jimmy Buffet without any green beans, beets or half n' half.
Nobody likes southern creamed beets and beans anyway.
The real reason I went was: my lovely wife gets angry if there is no Target flyer to read when she gets up on Sunday morning.
And the beet of the day was not creamed (which does sound interesting I must admit) .....but organic fresh beets oven cooked for one and one half hours at 375 degrees after being washed and brushed with double virgin olive oil and wrapped in aluminum foil
