God Almighty!
We were discussing the whole Jesus, God, Son-of-God, and the Holy Ghost idea at breakfast. We had a 2 hour delay-start for work today, which allows for in-depth discussions instead of 10 second sound bites. ( Kinda like watching The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer instead of Katie ) The question came up concerning an actual head count on Team God or the number of captains, co-captains, on that team. P-Lou allowed as to how she thinks they all may just be one transformer like identity. Would that be a great movie or what?

wonder if they have box-o-wine in heaven? If not, then, would it still be called heaven?
On a related topic... You know when you walk into a room and maybe it smells bad but after a while it you don't notice it anymore? It still smells but you just don't notice it anymore?... Or when entering a hot shower it might be "too hot" at first but after a while you acclimate and can maybe even increase the temperature a bit. Same thing when in a dark room - after a while you're eyes will adjust and you'll be able to see better than you could at first.
Subsequently, I wonder if the same thing goes for "Burning eternally" I wonder if after a while you get kinda used to it and maybe it isn't really "that bad", maybe even kinda nice, and or after more time (since we're talking about an eternity here) maybe at some point you even ask them to turn the heat up a little?

Well, I can offer a life experience that speaks to the extraordinary phenomenon of acclimation……. not that this will be reflected in our after life (or lack of after life). We lived in an apartment in Clarkston Georgia for about two years in the early 70's. Our unit was on the highway side of the intersection of East Ponce de Leon Avenue and Interstate 285. This particular interstate circled Atlanta and allowed drivers to avoid I-75. Therefore, I am guessing that approximately 85 million cars, buses, and trucks came by the bedroom window each hour of the day and night. When I first moved in, I didn’t sleep for 3 days………after a week, when people came over and asked about the goddamn traffic noise……I thought….. what noise?
